Tournament forms are available in single form or in a larger “All Forms” file, which has one of each form (see list below). Our pdf format files can be downloaded and printed to fill in by hand or downloaded to converted to a word processing program (which sometimes changes the forms). But to fill in the forms using a computer to type, you will need a program like Foxit which can be downloaded from the web ( see link below) to fill in the answers. If downloading our “All Files”, you will need more than one copy for bowler entry forms (up to 4 copies for bowler entries), shirt forms, and possibly other forms since the file only has one form each. We suggest that you Open the file after downloading and Save multiply copies of the original pdf file under different names, such as “ToA All Files1”, “ToA All Files2”, “ToA All Files3”, etc. If you download separate files from our site, you will still need more than one copy of bowler’s entry, ("Senior Bowler1...2...3"), etc. This will be particularly important if you use the edit program, Foxit. The program, Foxit, below, is a relatively small program that I found which will allow you to directly fill in the pdf files and save them to your computer. Please note: when you fill in the form and save it using Foxit, it will overwrite the original blank form automatically, leaving you with no other blank copy, which is why I suggest multiply copies saved in a file with different names – at least one more than you will need. The Foxit program is a trial program, good for 30 days of use. I have kept the unzipped download in a separate folder so that I may just open a new copy after 30 days (don’t forget to uninstall the original first). It will add a “tag line” at the top. This is not a problem. The filled in pdf forms can then be sent back to us in an email. Foxit PDF Editor 1.2This program is a handy editor to fill in PDF files. Download from the site below, Unzip the program to a different file than your download file (this way you can keep a copy for after 30 day trial use), Open the Foxit file, click on “set up”, then click on “continue with evaluation, the Foxit PDF Editor opens on your desktop. After opening a PDF file, you quickly see how easy the software is to use. You simply click any line of a document, and the automatically selected line appears in a box below and to the right of the document. Put your cursor at the end of the line (___), or after the question asked, and type in required information then click on “change” button . The program also allows you to add virtually any text or image object. Moreover, it displays all the current settings of the line or object, which is convenient for further configuration. You then could configure the text, color, stroke color, transformation, or form, but do not change it for our forms.
