Three 300 games today

The first 300 game of the tournament was posted by Andrew Koff, a Junior "A" division bowler from the United States, in the first game of the day on lanes 9/10.  At the same time on lanes 37/38, John Szczerbinski, also USA in the adult division, was on 9 strikes and finished with his 12 straight for the second 300 of the tournament week.  Not to be outdone, the senior division bowler, Venezuela's Arturo Hernandez shot 300 in his second game of the six game block.  Making him the first Senior bowler in the records to do so.  All the 300 games were bowled on the short oil pattern.

Andrew Koff, USA, kept the tournament officials busy two more times watching to see if he would be the first in the tournament history to bowl two 300 games as he strung 8 or 9 strikes in a row.  Many times today, other bowlers strung 8 or 9 strikes in their games as well.  The woman to watch today for 300's was Aseret Zetter, Mexico's adult division player, as she was knocking down the rack time after time, but not quite going the magic 12.
