American Zone Announces Changes in Rankin Events



 

                      2004 AMERICAN ZONE RANKING ANNOUNCED

The American Zone President, Alberto Ferrer of Bogota, Colombia has announced the tournaments that will determine the 2004 ranking points for members of the American Zone.  Each federation's national championships as well as the Punta Cana Open will be the only tournaments for 2004.  The top eight men and eight women with the most points from these two events will represent the American Zone at the World Ranking Masters tournament that will be held at the Kegel Training Centre in Lake Wales, Florida, April 25 - May 1, 2005. 

The 3rd Punta Cana Open will take place at Punta Cana Lanes in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, November 14 - 21, 2004. The event is offering $50,000 in prizes for the first 24 places.  Cost per player including hotel (sharing) is $750.  Two re-entries are included in the fee.  Also included is transportation between airport, hotel and bowling center.
